STANDARDS OF CONDUCT

GODA 2025

GODA is dedicated to fostering a secure and welcoming environment for both Event Sponsors and participants, irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. Any form of harassment is strictly forbidden. All communication must be suitable for a diverse and professional audience. Delegates are enjoined to treat others with kindness, refrain from insulting or belittling fellow participants, and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Any acts of harassment, sexism, racism, or exclusivity, including jokes, are not tolerated at any time during GODA events. Unwelcome physical contact, violence, or threats are explicitly prohibited. These Event Standards of Conduct are applicable to all event Sponsors and participants.

INTERACTION GUIDELINES

GODA 2025 INTERACTION GUIDELINES

For all interactions during the GODA Summit, we expect Delegates to abide by the event’s Code of Conduct to ensure the environment remains productive and respectful. The following guidelines will further help ensure we maintain an inclusive experience throughout our event:

• Be respectful of others.
• Avoid conflicts and arguments.
• Use common sense, kindness, and consideration together with the guidelines outlined above.
• If you intend to participate in the event, please make sure to dress appropriately.

ENFORCEMENT

GODA 2025 ENFORCEMENT OF GUIDELINES

If any Sponsor or attendee engages in behavior that fails to comply with the Event Standards of Conduct, GODA Organising Committee may, in its sole discretion, take any action that it deems appropriate to address the behavior, including warning the delegate, excluding the delegate from any Event-related activities, prohibiting the delegate from attending future Events, expelling the delegate from the Event, banning the delegate from online chats and/or other similar type experiences. Delegates asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. GODA OC may ask anyone violating these rules to leave the Event without a refund. In the case of illegal activity, GODA OC may also pursue other legally available remedies.

REPORTING AN ISSUE

REPORT AN ISSUE AT GODA 2025

GODA asks Sponsors and Delegates to remain vigilant for misconduct that violates our Event Standards of Conduct and to speak up if they are the target of or notice such behavior by other Delegates. Event Delegates may share complaints of misbehavior with GODA Organising Committee- complaints@goda.com. GODA OC has a strict non-retaliation policy for anyone who makes a good-faith report of misconduct or provides information in support of any investigation of misconduct. To enable a prompt and thorough investigation of complaints, GODA OC asks that reporters provide their name, phone number, email, and a description of the situation with as much detail as possible. While GODA OC takes all concerns raised seriously, it will use its discretion to determine when and how to follow up on reported incidents. GODA OC may decline to take further action and/or direct the participant to other resources to address the concern. The reporting mechanisms under the Event Standards of Conduct are not intended to address criminal activity or emergencies. Delegates who believe they have been the victim of a crime or experience or observe an emergency requiring immediate response (such as a threat of harm to any individual’s health or safety) should immediately contact the appropriate municipal authorities, such as the police, fire, medical, or other emergency responder.
