RULES & REQUIREMENTS

Guidelines for participating in the GODA Summit hackathon.

  • Eligibility

    Open to all participants aged 18 and above. Prior experience in AI, data science, or software development is beneficial but not required.

  • Duration

    The hackathon will start at Mar 26, 2025 08:00 AM BST and end at Mar 28, 2025 11:59 BST, you work on your hack during the allotted time only.

  • Team Composition

    Teams can consist of 2 to 5 members. You can join as an individual and form a team at the event.

    SEE SESSIONS
  • Original Work

    All work submitted must be original and developed during the hackathon. Pre-existing code and projects are not allowed.

  • Technology Stack

    Participants would use programming languages, tools, and platforms provided by our Hackathon AI and Data technology partners

  • Submission

    Teams must submit their projects by the deadline. Submissions should include source code, a demo video, and a brief description of the project.Once the hackathon starts, you will get an option to submit your hack, you can submit as many times as you want, the last hack will be considered as the final submission.

  • Submission Format

    • Project description (mandatory)
    • Presentation (mandatory – can be either a video and/or document)
    • Link to a working demo


  • Judging Criteria

    Projects will be judged based on innovation, impact, technical complexity, and presentation.

  • Intellectual Property

    All intellectual property rights remain with the participants, though winning teams may be offered opportunities to further develop their projects.

  • What You’ll Need

    • Laptop/PC: With necessary development tools installed
    • Internet Connection: Reliable connectivity for virtual participants
    • Creativity & Team Spirit: Bring your innovative ideas and be ready to collaborate!

    Sign up through our Registration Page before 10th December 2024

  • Form Your Team

    Either assemble your team beforehand or join one during the event.

  • Attend the Kick-off

    Be present at the hackathon kick-off session for essential information, rules, and networking opportunities.

  • Get Hacking

    Bring your best ideas and work together to create something amazing in just 48 hours!
